Helena Akhtar is a Boston based professional photographer with a passion for music and portraiture. Music shapes her life and inspires her everyday to become a better photographer. She's photographed musicians from around the world and has worked closely with radio stations like Boston's ALT 92.9. When she's photographing in the pit, it’s like time stops and nothing else matters. Being inches away from the entertainers, energy’s radiating from the stage, at times it even overwhelms. She hears the crowd screaming behind her, lights pulsing all around and she has the best view in the place. She's documenting an experience from her point-of-view, a single moment in time. With big plans for 2018 she continues to document what she loves most.
